I’ve always been interested in efficiency and traffic flow and happen to drive a great deal for my job. I spend a lot of time thinking about the dynamics of driving and drivers. At nobodies fault but my own I frequently find myself extremely frustrated with what I see as an extreme lack of consideration on the road. The idea presented in this video echoes a lot of what I’ve thought about during those many hours I’ve spent behind the wheel, cursing humanity. I live near and frequent several roundabouts and absolutely love this idea and genuinely would love to see it put in place and expanded upon. I understand there are civil engineers and other professionals working diligently on improving the safety and efficiency of the driving experience, but it doesn’t seem like there’s been any really leaps forward in a long time. Clearly, human psychology should be a major consideration in future road planning and building.
